Alarms
My alarm didn’t ring.
Open WakeForReal and check the banner at the top of Home. If it says Alarm access is off, tap Open Settings and switch Alarms on. Alarms also need an active subscription or free access; locked alarms show a lock icon. Keep your iPhone charged, and restart it if it has been on for a long time.
Does it ring in Silent mode or Focus?
Yes. WakeForReal uses Apple’s alarm system, the same one the Clock app uses.
Why did my alarm ring again after I pressed Stop?
That’s the point: Stop starts your wake-up, and the mission finishes it. If you leave the app or stop moving before the mission is done, the alarm rings again after a short delay.
How does Snooze work?
Each alarm allows one snooze (5 or 10 minutes, or off). After a snooze, the next ring can’t be snoozed.
What happens to a “Once” alarm?
It switches itself off after it rings and stays in your list, so you can turn it on again.
Missions
Walk isn’t counting my steps.
Allow Motion & Fitness access (iOS Settings → WakeForReal). Hold your phone or keep it in your pocket and walk normally. Shaking or swinging the phone doesn’t count.
Scan says “Not one of your saved items”.
Only items you saved for that alarm are accepted. Check the item’s name in the alarm’s Scan mission. If the barcode is damaged, add a different item. Use the flashlight in the dark.
Can I change the Math difficulty?
Yes. Edit the alarm → Mission → Math → Easy, Medium or Hard. Backup Math is always Medium.
Can I try a mission without waiting for an alarm?
Yes. Edit an alarm → Mission → choose a mission → Preview.
I can’t finish the mission.
Tap Emergency. Choose Backup Math, or press and hold Emergency Stop to end the alarm.
Subscription
How do I start or cancel?
Start from the Pro tab. Cancel any time in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple.
I reinstalled the app and lost Pro.
Open Settings in WakeForReal and tap Restore Purchases.
What is Complimentary Access?
One period of free access (72 hours) for new users, once per customer. It doesn’t renew.
