These terms apply to the WakeForReal iPhone app provided by Vybes (“we”). By using the app you agree to them and to Apple’s Standard License Agreement.
1. What the app does
WakeForReal is an alarm that asks you to complete a mission (Walk, Scan or Math) after you press Stop. If the mission is not completed, the alarm can ring again. Emergency options (Backup Math and Emergency Stop) are always available.
2. Important: an alarm is not a safety device
Alarms rely on your iPhone, iOS and its settings (battery, volume, Alarms access, system updates, restarts). Do not rely on WakeForReal as the only way to wake up for anything critical, such as medication, travel, work shifts or caring for others. Keep your iPhone charged and Alarms access switched on.
3. Missions and your safety
Walk missions ask you to move around. Only do this where it is safe, and don’t walk in the dark or on stairs if you’re unsteady on your feet. Use Emergency Stop whenever you need to end an alarm without a mission.
4. WakeForReal Pro subscriptions
- Pro is available as an auto-renewing annual or monthly subscription bought through Apple. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- New subscribers may get a 3-day free trial. When it ends, the subscription is charged unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
- Complimentary Access: new users may receive one period of free access (currently 72 hours), once per customer. It does not renew and can’t be transferred or exchanged.
- If you have no active access, your alarms and settings are kept, but alarms don’t ring until access is restored. We will never stop an alarm while you are waking up because of a subscription change.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t reverse-engineer, misuse or interfere with the app or our services, or use them unlawfully.
6. Changes and availability
We may update, change or discontinue features. We will not remove paid features during a period you have already paid for without offering a remedy required by law.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed events caused by an alarm not sounding. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bangalore have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections where you live.
